This is what i have so far: Step 1–Describe how amendments have affected Americans' participation in government. Give specific examples from the lesson, including amendment names. 1) The nineteenth amendment is one, that is women's rights they can now get involved with politics, the military and vote. 2) The fifteenth amendment grants the black population the right to get involved in the government also. 3) The twenty sixth amendment lowered the age for a person to go to war and it was established in March 1971 4) In 1920, Catherine Lewis was old enough to vote and, because of the 19th Amendment, able to vote as a woman. In this quote, she recalls casting her first vote in the election for president that year. Not only was she eager to vote, but her father was happy about the fact as well. Step 2–Brainstorm ideas for an amendment to the Constitution. What change do you think would make a positive difference in the United States? Ask trusted adults and friends for their ideas. Don't worry about complete sentences or spelling in this step. 1) The income tax maximum for individuals should not exceed 15% Up to $30,000, you pay 1% From $30,000 to $100,000, you pay 5% From $100,000 to $1 million, you pay 10% On $1 million or above, you pay 15% Step 3–Choose an amendment idea from your brainstorming activity. Title of Your Amendment: Taxpayers Tax Relief Write a paragraph to explain what this amendment will do and whom it will benefit. Those who will benefit the most will be all the individual taxpayers because it will reduce the tax liability that each one of us has to the federal government, and it will keep the economy strong and Make America Great Again. Step 4–In your own words, explain the process that your amendment will have to follow to become law. First, the idea will have to ________________________________________. Alternatively, it could ________________________________________. Then it must _________________________. Alternatively, it could then ________________________________________. Step 5-In your own words, explain why this process is difficult to achieve but important to the nation. The amendment process is difficult because ________________________________________________________________________________. However, it is important to have a way to amend the Constitution because _______________________________________________________________. An example of why it is so important is ___________________________________________________________. I got step 1,2,3 i need help with 4 and 5

Write an amendment to be proposed by Congress. Amendments have usually been written by legislators. Ideas for amendments are also initiated by social movements and interest groups. Secure two-thirds majority support for the amendment. One of the two methods for amending the Constitution is for Congress to propose an amendment. In order for an amendment to be proposed, it must have two-thirds majority support from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. This is also known as a “supermajority.” Introduce a joint resolution to propose the amendment. Once you have secured your support, you need to propose the amendment to the entire Congress. Either the House of Representatives or the Senate can initiate a joint resolution. Debate the resolution. Joint resolutions are usually debated by the full membership of each house after receiving committee approval. Pass a joint resolution in Congress. Congress can propose an amendment to the Constitution by passing a joint resolution. Two thirds of both the House of Representatives and the Senate must approve the resolution Draft and approve the amendment in the convention. Once the convention has debated the amendment and arrived at consensus, the convention will draft and approve the amendment. Okay This should help

can you help with step 5
yeah
hey are you able to help me with step 5 plz :(
have u tried #5?
no i am confused
okay well
the amendment process is very difficult and time consuming: A proposed amendment must be passed by two-thirds of both houses of Congress, then ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the states. If the Constitution could be changed easy, it would have little value. For anyone would change it at any given time. Also, a corrupt President, or powerful political party could use amendments to play to their political agendas. In order to solve these issues, our Founding Fathers made the amendment process difficult to maintain the Constitution's value and keep corrupt/powerful groups from using it to support their own ideals.
