OpenStudy (hoxton):

please can you help me? Iron has a density of 7.9 g/cm3. How much mass is in a 10 cm3 sample of iron? A. 17.9 g B. 79 g C. 1.26 g D. 0.79 g

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

\[\rho=\frac{m}{v}\]where the funny p (rho) is density, m is mass and v is for volume. you're given density and volume. now just cross multiply and you'll get your mass.
