OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one I'm not positive on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct go on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok this one i need help with....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 and #4 are miles off. #3 is fairly close, but wrong on a few points: The US had one obvious imperial territory (the Philippines) and China was a major power in East Asia. (China was at that time at about the lowest point in its long decline, but it was still the most populous nation on Earth by far, and about the size it is today in terms of territory.) So #1 is correct, although I would quibble with it some: Russia had enormous and extensive imperial territories, but they weren't counted as "imperial" because they had been incorporated into the the nation, rather than being ruled as colonies.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks so much :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am so sorry it took me so long to reply I was helping other people with their questions but Early in the 19th century, serious internal weaknesses developed in the Qing dynasty that left China vulnerable to Western, Japanese, and Russian imperialism. In 1839, China found itself fighting the First Opium War with Britain. China was defeated.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So judging from that i am correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i looked over the rest of the answers... i should be able to do them myself... but thanks for all the help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say by negotiating trade agreements with the Chinese but I am not really sure.. and the last one is education for all Japanese children

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are quite welcome(:
