will fan or medal this question confused me

OpenStudy (m_m13):

Why do liquids flow? A. Liquid particles are wet. B. Liquid particles are smooth. C. Liquid particles are not fixed in place. D. Liquid particles are attracted to each other.

OpenStudy (m_m13):

is it D or C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm pretty sure it's C

OpenStudy (m_m13):

I tried both C and D and it said that I was wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But they do get fixed in place when they take the shape of a container, so I'm not 100% sure :/

OpenStudy (m_m13):

is it B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't study liquids lol. So yes, try B.

OpenStudy (m_m13):

ok.....

OpenStudy (m_m13):

thanks

OpenStudy (m_m13):

How would you describe the behavior of particles in a solid? A. They don’t move very much and do not change position. B. They crash into each other and bounce all around. C. They move very quickly and across great distances. D. They never move at all.

OpenStudy (m_m13):

wouldn't be A or D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's D

OpenStudy (m_m13):

why?

OpenStudy (m_m13):

i'm sooo confused lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so gas particles bounce all over the place, liquid particles move barely, and solid particles don't move at all. As an example, a ice cube is a solid. But it was once water. The water (liquid) particles freeze up, making the particle expand to where they don't move.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does that make sense? Lol

OpenStudy (m_m13):

yep thank you so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome aha :)

OpenStudy (m_m13):

no more questions see ya bye!!!! :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay cool. Bye! :)

OpenStudy (m_m13):

i failed

OpenStudy (m_m13):

the answers were wrong :(
