Do ecosystems always recover after a major human caused disturbance? and why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They don't always recover. So no.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It depends on what kind of disturbance was made. It can also depend on if there is a pioneer species in that area. If there is, then it can recover. If there isn't, then probably not. Make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that made sense thank you
