OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

Eukaryotes that are not members of the plant, animal, and fungi kingdoms are called ____. A. microbes B. protists C. prokaryotes D. decomposers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, can you define all of the terms?

OpenStudy (shikamaru11):

Microbes............... are tiny organisms—too tiny to see without a microscope, yet they are abundant on Earth. They live everywhere—in air, soil, rock, and water. Some live happily in searing heat, while others thrive in freezing cold. Some microbes need oxygen to live but some do not protists............ The taxonomic kingdom Protista is a collection of single-celled organisms that do not fit into any other category. Protists are a group made up of protozoa, unicellular algae, and slime molds. prokaryote............. is a single-celled organism that lacks a membrane-bound nucleus (karyon), mitochondria, or any other membrane-bound organelle. Decomposers................... are organisms that break down dead or decaying organisms, and in doing so, carry out the natural process of decomposition. Like herbivores and predators, decomposers are heterotrophic, meaning that they use organic substrates to get their energy, carbon and nutrients for growth and development.... so wo got Protist as the answer............... then @DarrenMadx @TylerS11
