PLEASE HELP!! How are crabs similar to other crustaceans?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Crabs are similar to other crustaceans in many ways. One of this ways is the hard shell or exoskeleton that protects crabs and other crustaceans from becoming an integral part of the food chain, if you know what I mean. Another morphological feature that crabs and crustaceans shared with each others is that they have jointed limbs. For more info on their similarities, check the following website out: http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/crabs-crayfish-and-other-crustaceans/page-1
