PLEASE HELP!!
What should we do in order to stop the gun violence??
(this is for my essay)

here in the north east most are against guns so if this is for a argumentative essay you can say that more shootings happen in no gun zones and that if a person in the building or room of the Oregon shooting had a gun he would of been able to possibly stop the shooting, now imagine if multiple people had guns. Crazy people will always be able to get guns no matter how hard taking guns away from law abiding citizens will just make things worse.

yes these are reasons that in your opinion would stop gun violence but a persuasive essay should be more specific. if it was a argumentative essay your thesis would be something like: guns are good if they are in the hands of law abiding citizens. for a persuasive it would be : More people should carry guns... then explain why. do more research on this issue, if i am mistaken australia took away guns from its citizens and crime went up tremendously.... also each reason you ive for your thesis/topic sentence should be one paragraph.

this is something that needs more research and statistics less opinionated. Opinions are a good basis but they will not convince anyone
