227 229 271 317 You can use all the types of methods to try and get the answer, but you MUST use 1997, and keep it in that order no matter what. Please help, too hard 4 me...

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

I got 349. But apparently I can't use decimals for the powers. It also has to be EXACTLY the number, i.e.: 227

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

can't be 226.710123

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

@satellite73

OpenStudy (defiance):

hi!

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

sup

OpenStudy (defiance):

You have to make the numbers become 1997? I'm confused...

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

oh no no no xD You have to use 1,9,9,7 to make the numbers, for example 227.

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

You can use any method, but they have to be in that specific order, and you can't use decimals.

OpenStudy (defiance):

Can you move them around?

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

nope xD Thats why its hard xD

OpenStudy (defiance):

Alright.

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

you HAVE to keep 1,9,9,7 in that order

OpenStudy (defiance):

Alright.

OpenStudy (defiance):

Are you using PEMDAS at all?

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

Try your best xD Im doing it too :P

OpenStudy (defiance):

Might be your problem.

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

and yeah, you can.

OpenStudy (defiance):

You probable have to.

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

yeah, or I won't get anywhere. Like for 349

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

I used all sorts of stuff. Like: √ and stuff like () and ^3

OpenStudy (defiance):

I'm thinking, lol.

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

This thing is so tiring xD

OpenStudy (defiance):

I found 230... but has a decimal at the end ;)

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

lol

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

I have all the answers, but they used like 9^6.616 or something like that xD

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

and since I wasn't allowed to use decimals, I was asked to do it again xD

OpenStudy (defiance):

oh lol

OpenStudy (defiance):

I give up, my head hurts :P

OpenStudy (epicteatime):

lol gg m8 gg xD
