well this is a guess and check method...
so let x = 10
substitute it and then calculate the value...
that's how it appears you are being asked to get a solution.
If the value of 10 doesn't work, then put a larger or smaller value in.
and then keep adjusting till you get an answer

look at x = 2.153
and then see what you get
