Pre-calculus question

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

fist of all when functions are inverse their x values become their y values. for a graph when things are inverse they usually are mirrored along the y=x line.

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

i would choose C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C appears to be a reflection across the y-axis, not y=x. I would pick a few points on the original graph, reverse their coordinates, and see which of the options passes through all 3 "new" points

OpenStudy (welshfella):

if my memory serves me right the inverse is a reflection in the line y=x.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

which would make it D?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

oh peachpi also mentions y=x so I think i must be right...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I think d as well
