Why is the cell theory a theory and not a law? The cell theory explains the natural world. The cell theory describes the natural world. The cell theory has not been tested enough by the scientific community. The cell theory has not been accepted by the scientific community.

me personally i do not believe that it is, A or D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So between B and C, what do you think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c but I am not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have done some research a while back, and there wasn't much enough support for it to become a law, so they just stuck with it being a theory.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is not a law, because more things about the cell can be discovered, within time..This is because new technological objects can be invented (such as the microscope) that can change the understundig of what we think a cell is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would choose C.
