find

1. Add vectors A and B.

2. Give the magnitude and Angle of direction from the x-axis: 90km @60° E of N + 110km @ 15° S of E (Express answers to three significant figures.

so you are having trouble evaluating:
(2i+6j)+(3i-3j)

just think of it as combining like terms

For #1, basically combining like terms, did you get 9j+1i or 5i+3j?
