Question

I need help with these two essay questions!
11. List eight parts of speech and give an example of each.

12. Briefly describe Poe's requirements for the short story genre.

Answer 1

I don't need the whole answer, I just need a general idea of what the answer is...

Answer 2

The eight parts of speech are noun, verb, adverb, adjective, pronoun, proposition, conjunction, and interjection. Propositions link nouns to words, conjunctions join a clause, and interjections use one word with exclamation point like "Ouch!" or "Oh!".

Answer 3

Oh okay! That's good to know. What are pronouns though?

Answer 4

pronouns are like specific things ex: She=noun-----Lizzie=Pro-noun
Store=noun-----Walmart=Pro-noun

Answer 5

Get It??

Answer 6

Ohh yep, I remember now. Thank you!

Does anyone know anything about the second question though? :/

Answer 7

Also, you said pronouns were nouns. It's the other way around...
Example: "She" is a pronoun, but "Sally" is a noun.

Answer 8
