The  eight parts of speech are noun, verb, adverb, adjective, pronoun, proposition, conjunction, and interjection. Propositions link nouns to words, conjunctions join a clause, and interjections use one word with exclamation point like "Ouch!" or "Oh!".

Also, you said pronouns were nouns. It's the other way around...
Example: "She" is a pronoun, but "Sally" is a noun.
