Vocaloid (vocaloid):

hm, this isn't really my area of expertise but relative dating is basically determining the age of an object relative to another object. an example would be layers in a rock formation; we can tell that the bottom layers are older than the top layers, but we don't know exactly how old they are just by looking at them absolute dating is telling the actual age of an object. the two methods I can think of are dendrochronology (looking at tree rings to determine the age of a tree) and carbon-14 dating (which looks at the ratio of carbon-12 to carbon-14)
