You are using 0.05 gallons of gas per mile while driving an SUV with a gas tank that holds 16 gallons. The equation for this situation is y = -0.05x + 16. Make a T-table for the equation, using the x values 0, 100, and 200. Which ordered pairs are represented in your T-table? A. (0, 0), (100, 21), (200, 26) B. (0, 16), (100, 21), (200, 26) C. (0, 0), (100, 5), (200, 10) D. (0, 16), (100, 11), (200, 6)

Some help me please

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

|dw:1444424745357:dw| So basically, you take your formula, and see what "y = " when you plug in those values of 'x' they have given So when x = 0....y = ? etc...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be A? @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Nope, andI can tell right away If you plug 0 into this equation...you do not get 0 \[\large y = -0.05(0) + 16\] \[\large y = 16\] So the first point would be (0,16) Continue in that same way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about B? @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

No again, are you actually plugging them in? plug in x = 100 what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C ? @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

- I give up sorry - Do the work and you will get your answer ~Thanks~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its D @johnweldon1993
