Last Question Graph the system of inequalities presented here on your own paper, then use your graph to answer the following questions: y > 3x + 10 y is less than negative 3 over 4 times x minus 1 Part A: Describe the graph of the system, including shading and the types of lines graphed. Provide a description of the solution area. (6 points) Part B: Is the point (8, 10) included in the solution area for the system? Justify your answer mathematically. (4 points)

I'll tag a friend of mine alright because i am helping somebody else out. Hey, could you please help her with her question? @YoungStudier

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Curse me and my none advanced schooling....Uh....Let's see if I can figure this out....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

l0l ok

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Crud, I'm not sure @texaschic101 can you help?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

y > 3x + 10....dashed line because there is no equal sign. Shaded above because it is greater then. y < 3/4x - 1....dashed line. Shaded below the line because it is less then. ================ (8,10)....x = 8 and y = 10 y > 3x + 10 y < 3/4x - 1 10 > 3(8) + 10 10 < 3/4(8) - 1 10 > 24 + 10 10 < 6 - 1 10 > 34 (correct) 10 < 5 (incorrect) (8,10) is NOT in the solution area because it does not satisfy both inequalities

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

oops...lol....10 > 34 (incorrect)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow so smart cx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank You

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

YW :)
