FUSSION AND FISSION RELATION?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

With the nuclear reaction of fission, fragments of nuclei of Uranium-235 are produced by slow neutrons. Such reaction is a chain reaction, since due to fission, other free neutrons are produced, which can cause the breaking of many other nuclei of Uranium-235. Such nuclear reaction, happens inside the nuclear power plants. With the nuclear fusion reaction, some nuclei of certain chemical elements are fused to form a new nucleus of another chemical element. For example, a natural reaction of nuclear fusion, happens in the Sun, since four nuclei of hydrogen are fused together in order to produce a nucleus of Helium. In simple words, the fission nuclear reaction and the fusion nuclear reaction are two nuclear processes one the inverse of the other.
