The golden gate bridge is one of the most photographed bridges in the country. This bridge is located between the San Francisco bay and the pacific ocean. Many tourists visit California every year. Most of them do not swim in the ocean in northern California because the water is too cold. Instead, people ride bikes and hike to see the natural and modern wonders of the area. Which words in the passage are capitalized incorrectly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) Golden Gate Bridge - it's a proper noun 2) bay - should be "Bay"; it's apart of the "San Francisco" proper noun 3) Pacific Ocean - proper noun 4) Northern - directions are not capitalized unless they name a specific part of a location, e.g. "Go to the west" is not capitalized, while, "Go to West California" is.
