Write a short paragraph explaining some details about school practices and or activities in school in the Spanish speaking world
In different Spanish-speaking countries there are slight differences between their education systems, but it's notorious the difference with the American education system. I can talk to you about the Costa Rican system. Children enter in the educational system at 4 and a half years old at a level called "maternal", then at 5 years and a half years old, enter to kindergarten, called just "kinder" and then, at 6 and a half years old enter to "preparatoria", although these levels are needed, they aren't required. From 7 years old they enter to primary school where they spend six years. Later, they go to high school, where spend 5 or 6 levels else, depending on whether it's a technical high school (where, in addition, they learn a profession) or an academic high school. Then, they can go to the university. Only in the university, (here is the only name, there isn't college), you earn credits, before it, you don't. In the same way, the grades are written on a numerical scale from 0 to 100, not an alphabetical one so, there aren't A+, C or D, etc. like grades.
