Ok so carry the extra inches over into feet. 12 inches equals 1 foot. So 30/12=2.6 so you have two feet to add to the 24 feet and then your inches left are 6 inches. So your final length would be 26 ft and 6 in

I just caught a mistake. This is what I have done . 6ft 8in+ 6ft 8in+3ft 6in+3ft 6in+3ft 6in+3ft 6in= 24ft 40in/12in =3ft 4in. So 24ft+3ft= 27ft 4in. @kimbllse777 and thanks for explaining that I needed to divide that 12 into 40 :)
