A certain bank assigns one unique number to each savings account. The amount of savings in each account depends on how much the owner deposits into the account. The interest paid on each account depends on how much money is in the account.

You are correct. Let's say two accounts 0001 and 0002 both are paid $100 in interest.

So for the ordered pair `(interest paid, savings account number)` the value of x is x = 100. But this x value maps to more than one y value (0001 and 0002). This means we don't have a function here.
