I know its not B or C. So I'm stuck between A or D.
okay
yes it is A
nvm i submitted my test and its B (HIV antibodies)
Yes, CD4 (aka T-cell) counts tend to be diminished in HIV patients as the virus uses those cells to replicate itself, destroying them in the process. T-cell counts are used to monitor the effectiveness of anti-retroviral therapy. HIV antibodies will be produced after infection when the immune system attempts to fight off the virus. Some HIV tests work by detecting HIV antibodies, which are usually present within 3 months or so of initial infection. There are some cases where a person will have HIV antibodies without having been infected, such as an infant born to an infected mother, or false positive test results for other reasons. Positive test results are confirmed by a followup test using a different method, and the overall accuracy is very good. Other HIV test methods work by detecting proteins present on the virus, or the HIV DNA in the blood. Some HIV tests combine multiple methods to produce more reliable results, as the markers of HIV infection change as the infection progresses.
