Please Help Medal/Fan Part A: Write the sequence of transformations that changes figure ABCD to figure A'B'C'D'. Explain your answer and write the coordinates of the figure obtained after each transformation. Part B: Are the two figures congruent? Explain your answer.
here's the picture

The first part is a reflection of ABCD in the x-axis can you see what the second transformation is?
down 3 units?
Note that the point A goes form the point (4,4) to (-4,-4)
no
how will A go from (-4,-4) to A' ?
you mean it goes from (-4,4) to (3,-4)
Yes
It was flipped
No

Actually A went to A' because of a 180 degree turn
counterclockwise
No - because the x coordinate would be 4 if that was the case.

note that A is flipped in the first transformation ( the reflection) but not in the second
the whole shape keeps its orientation in second transfrmation.
Yea i see that but point A goes fromt the top to the bottom A'
not straight away - first it goes to bottom left quadrant then moves to bottom right There are 2 transformations.
1, reflection 2. another transformation
so I the reflection then 3 units down? because i have to explain all the steps i did and what were the coordinates for each transformation
No not down - its moves to the right to get to A'. the 2nd transformation is a translation 7 points to the right.
form (-4,-4) to (3,-4)
