OpenStudy (rissaunnie):

Divide: 26xy - 39y ----------- 13y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We have to divide each number by 13y. 26xy/13y = 2x 39y/13y = 3 This gives us: 2x-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got that too, 2x-3

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Or you can take 13 y as a common factor.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess you could just divide everything my 13y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 26xy divide 13y =2x -39y divide 13y = -3 13y divide 13y =1 so put them all together is 2x-3 but i found doing the other method is easier, up to you :)
