OpenStudy (jakeenglish):

Which of the following represents the zeros of f(x) = x^3 − 14x^2 + 61x − 84? can someone please explain this to me? i don't quite understand this concept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what they mean is what should be the value of x when \[f(x) = 0\] In other words, solve for x in \[x^3 − 14x^2 + 61x − 84 = 0\]

OpenStudy (jakeenglish):

oh! okay, so the answer would be, it equals 3, 4, and 7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see if f(3),f(4),f(7) all=0
