Can someone help here? (see image) for numbers six and seven. (Please ignore my sloppy handwriting 😅😅

OpenStudy (anonymous):

image?

OpenStudy (angel_kitty12):

Is there not an image shown?

OpenStudy (angel_kitty12):

Weird I'll write it out then.

OpenStudy (angel_kitty12):

6. The formula for conditional Probability is: P(B|A) = P(A and B)/ P(A). Solve This formula for P(A and B).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, theres no image but some weird boxes at the end of it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you rearrange it, you'd make P(A and B) the subject

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so by moving P(A) over to the other side, you'd get P(B|A) x P(A)

OpenStudy (angel_kitty12):

So you multiply P(A) on both sides?

OpenStudy (angel_kitty12):

And that's the answer? P(B|A) • P(A)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep which equals P(A and B)

OpenStudy (angel_kitty12):

Ohhhh okay thank you so much!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no prob ^^
