How do you find the inverse of a function ? For example to find the inverse of f(x)=9-x, I've done this before but am having a hard time recalling what to do at the moment. Thank you for your time ! :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, the property of an inverse is such that: f(f'(x)) = x so let x = f'(x) f(f'(x)) = 9-f'(x) simplify and solve for f'(x)

Ohhh.... ok I got it, thank you :) @amistre64

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck :)
