What was the general response of the Incas when they first encountered the Europeans? In reference to "Guns, Germs, and Steel Conquest of the Americas National Geographics Documentary"

They pretty much treated them like Gods due to the Incan prophecy of end times, not to mention they also thought highly of their extra human cloths (which was their metal armor). It was when they were being killed that they become hostile.
