MsBrains (ms-brains):

Helps meez plz xD (Help me, please! I will fan, and medal!)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so this seems pretty easy. Replace X and Y in the original equation with what they are equal to.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should get -87+34

MsBrains (ms-brains):

so -53 is the awnser?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Next one @LifeOfRiley

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep! That's it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do the same thing for this one as the last one, replacing A and B with what they are equal to.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

so... like this..15.4 +13.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeppers.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

which =1.9

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Next one...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. Not quite. I made a mistake. Both those numbers were negative. See the minus sign?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Re-calculate and tell me what you get.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need help its 9.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-15.4 +-13.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

last one was 28.9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-28.9

MsBrains (ms-brains):

20.9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sohal -28.9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because they were negative

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Okay got it. necxt on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your test seems to be very simple and I don't want to hold your hand through every question. So just remember this. On the questions, remember to simply replace X and Y (Or whatever the letters are) with what they are equal to. Then add or subtract. Keep track of those signs and you're good to go!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what grade r u in out of curious intellect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Sohal Let her work on this herself, I think she's got this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill check her answers

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I'm in 8th grade. Doing alegebra1..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm in 9th grade. I know what you're going though. Just follow my direction and you'll do great! You gotta do it yourself, with help of course. :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

which = -18.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

18.4 because -+-=+

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not in the case of addition. In addition it would still be negative.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

So my answer was right..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's only in multiplication.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats wat I thought but I have a feeling this is way to easy and I just don't know i think of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Idk your right

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Can you guys help me on 5 more questions...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey dude do u know why my delete button denote work

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think the answer is 59...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But you don't know the basic difference between multiplication and addition with negative intergers. Half of the questions so far she would have gotten wrong had I not corrected. You're getting a little off topic too just leave this to me please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No offence, but two is a bit of a crowd here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*offense

MsBrains (ms-brains):
