(Help please! I'll give a Medal.) (I'm going to be attaching the questions in files.) @LifeOfRiley @Chris00

MsBrains (ms-brains):

5+(-7) =-2 correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oof, girl I want to help you but I have something of my own to worry about this evening. I didn't even really have time to do the first one. I'm just an exhausted freshman, not a tutor. You should know what to do with what I taught you. You're on your own. So sorry.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

It's okay! :) See ya some other time Riley!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Will do! I'm sure someone else will pop in shortly. :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Yeah. I'm sure somebody will. Go, and get some rest or what ever you are doing. xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But being the curious nerd I am I checked and you got it. I'll leave you with one final tip: In Addition and Subtraction (NOTE: NOT DIVISION AND MULTIPLICATION) when you see a negative and a positive, you can hypothetically change the terms slightly to make it a bit easier. Example: 5+-3 is the same as 5-3 OR, on the other hand, 5-(-3) Is the same as 5+3. Keep that in mind as you go along. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did that help, or make it more confusing? :D

MsBrains (ms-brains):

It helped! I have one last question to go, it'd be awesome if you could help..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure. Let me see...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Allright, so do you know what the Identity Property of Addition is?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

No idea... I mean we learned a little bit about it only in class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so it means that any number plus zero will still be the same number. Knowing this, look at the problem again. In particular, the last two sections.

Directrix (directrix):

See attachment.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ms-Brains , @Directrix is legit. When I'm not around, you can trust what he says. He's helping me with a section of geometry which is essentially this but on a wicked higher level.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

The the answer would be D Definition of addition..?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Oh, okay! Thanks for helping me guys. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmmm... Not quite. Remember idenrity property?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome!

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I'm just lost here, and I'm going to guess the answer is C Commutative property of addition..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's Identity, because 0+e gets simplified to e due to the fact that 0 does not change the outcome.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Oh...I get it, kinda! Thanks Riley! Sorry for making you stay longer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's fine. Glad to help. In the meantime, watch this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vkk1SjfE6mI

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He's boring, and the audio is nails on a chalkboard, but HEY, I guess it teaches. XP

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Will do. :) Hahahaha you're right. xD

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Bye!!
