HELP!!! Find the discriminant 5x^2-6x+2=0 I say the answer is -76 but I'm getting it marked wrong. Please help

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

first identify your a, b, and c values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did. I got -76 which is the incorrect answer A is 5 B is -6 C is 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What am I getting wrong

Directrix (directrix):

A is 5 B is -6 C is 2 Discriminant: b^2 -4*a*c (-6)^2 - 4*(5)*(2) is not equal to -76 I suspect that somebody cranked out (-6)^2 as -36 which is INcorrect. Try again. @Shawn88c1

No I actually used -4 which was wrong. I got the answer by using 4. Thx
