Can someone explain how to get the right answers?(:

pooja195 (pooja195):

1) Whats half of 81? Remember bi=2 DEF is the whole triangle measure. EG is what splits it in half they want the measure of one half.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay so its 40.5?

pooja195 (pooja195):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about the 2nd one?

pooja195 (pooja195):

I'm not sure about the last 2 :\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay but thanks(:

pooja195 (pooja195):

@imqwerty @ganeshie8

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

For the last one, the answer is altitude. The altitude is a line that touches the hypotenuse and the 90 degree angle

imqwerty (imqwerty):

|dw:1444797485785:dw| EG bisects angle DEF means that EG divides angle DEF into 2 equal parts so we have angle DEG=angleGEF

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Let me see tho...

imqwerty (imqwerty):

can u find the angle DEG with this information?

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Yeah it doesnʻt bisect anything

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

imqwerty (imqwerty):

:/ i didn't read that u tagged me for 2nd one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (adi3):

qwerty we are finally here

imqwerty (imqwerty):

|dw:1444797736207:dw| sum of all angles=180 so 58+62+(2n+10+4n-34)=180 see that 2n+10+4n-34=angleXYZ so 120+angleXYZ=180 angleXYZ=60
