Which of the following graphs correctly represents x>-1/2 ?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

what do u think it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the fourth graph?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

it says x>-1/2 this equation doesn't contain y so y can be anything but we need to focus upon x it says that that x should be greater than -1/2 but the graph 4 that u chose has a solid boundary which means that the points on edge are included. for example the point (-1/2, 1) is included but hey the x cordinate of this point is -1/2 and should should not happen cause x>-1/2 so graph 4 is wrong what do u think the answer is..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the first graph

imqwerty (imqwerty):

in 1st graph all x cordinates are less than -1/2 but x>-1/2 so it is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol -_-

imqwerty (imqwerty):

:)

imqwerty (imqwerty):

2nd graph is correct
