Yes, because step 1 is just rewriting the problem. Step 2 is doing the problem, u r not touching 800. The only thing ur doing it is 1.09^4 which is 1.41158161 and that will turn into 1.4116 because 8 is greater than 5 and it will go up 1 number and that is 6 Then multiply 800(1.4116) =1129.28
