I would have to say perhaps Evanescene or Within Temptation, however theme songs for various Anime shows I would say would probably be the most emotional, but those wouldn't really count. Thing is, is that the lead singers for them have beautiful voices and a handful of their songs can be quite touching. But that's just my opinion.

The Weeknd is the best emotional lyric artist in my opinion he can sign about any situation and the song is great from start to finish. He can sing he can rap he usually does a combination of both. Some good songs to start with if you dont know who he is would be Kiss Land, King of the Fall, Coming Down, and The Zone
