Well, the lightbulb was invented by Thomas Edison, and he had to try over 1,000 times until he got a solution to make it correctly

it was invented because some people couldn't even afford candles! So, he made it so it would be a lot easier for people to use light.

people went to sleep when it was dark and would wake when it was light. He wanted to change that.

He made it because using candles, lamps, and lanterns. But that was dangerous and expensive. This also put smoke and dangerous fumes into the room which made it hard to breath. So Edison had the idea of a lightbulb
