@angel_kitty12 "Range" simply means the area of the planet that is known to be inhabited by the species in question. Let me give you a real example: The range of the aye-aye lemur is the island of Madagascar near the southeast coast of Africa. Now, you know the range, what can you do with that? How could you get population numbers? The exact areas the aye-aye live in? Hope it helps.
