I hear the sound of footsteps behind these walls. They leave my heart uneasy. The sounds of creaking floors and eerie crinkles of plastic covers, lift the hair on the back of my neck. I sit here lying in wait, behind these barred doors, and sealed windows. I close my eyes only to see myself on the edge of a tall hill, where beneath lies a turbulent sea. A dark moonlit night that draws the waves that knock on my hill, they question my anguish, and mock my guilt. Take a dive, plunge into your defeat, whispered the waves. A siren plunges out of the sea, and creeps onto a rock under my hill. She moves with the brilliance of the night, and the shimmer of the stars within her gaze. She lifts her hand to the moon, and as I looked upon her,gold began to ooze out of her palm, brilliant gold that was seen through the rushing turbulent waves, which had no effect on her countenance.

Gold began to take shape with a mind of its own, forming thing strings and a strong arc. Soon enough, she strummed a chord on her newly formed golden harp. It's vibrant entrancing melody numbed my mind. The sound of the chord rippled through the cold lifeless waves forming four whirlpools around her nest. The ripple from the chord seemed to carry out into the expanse of the sea, beyond what I could see. Out of these whirlpools, storms began to emerge that went far up into the sky, beyond my sight. And, a beast of its own kind, like none ever seen before, sprang from each storm. With each beast an army, and the night was blazed into fire, the horizon scorched and the expanse shrieked away. An army covered the horizon of the sea. Ships began to emerge out of the sea. Shouts and chants of assembly could be heard. The brass sounds of armor and the deafening clashes of swords encamped my hill. Laughter that made the blood boil, screams that made the blood curdle. I no longer sat on the edge of the hill in dismay nor in the fright of my guilt. I now stood on the high edge of the hill, and looked upon the sea with contempt and anger for its plan to devour my nation.

I love it. It's like a Wonderland clash with Little Mermaid and Pirates of the Carribean. It's so enriching to my mind. I love how it's being shown in the moonlight. sparking up the imagination beyond what is told. The windows being boarded...they could tell a story of their own..Saying that they were boarded before you came. And you were unbriefed as to why. But as the battle went on, and the pirates came forth to your hill..you went inside and the boards kept them out. like a sorcery of some sort...they were...enchanted..
