OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Which statement best represents scientific laws? Scientific laws are statements that contain scientists' opinions of how the world works. Scientific laws are factual statements that explain why certain natural phenomena occur. Scientific laws are theories that have been tested, proven, and adopted as laws. Scientific laws are descriptions of observed phenomenon, generally accepted as facts. Nearly everyone is saying it's C, but I absolutely KNOW that laws cannot become theories and theories cannot become laws, so that can't possibly be correct... I also know it can't be B because laws are supposed to explain WHAT, not WHY. And A is just stupid because science doesn't have to do with opinions at all. I put D, is it correct?
