Which statement best represents scientific laws? A- Scientific laws are statements that contain scientists' opinions of how the world works. B - Scientific laws are factual statements that explain why certain natural phenomena occur. C - Scientific laws are theories that have been tested, proven, and adopted as laws. D - Scientific laws are descriptions of observed phenomenon, generally accepted as facts. Nearly everyone is saying it's C, but I absolutely KNOW that laws cannot become theories and theories cannot become laws, so that can't possibly be correct... I also know it can't be B because laws are supposed to explain WHAT, not WHY. And A is just stupid because science doesn't have to do with opinions at all. I put D, is it correct?
