What event in the last ten years will have the greatest impact on the millennial generation?

My response so far:

On June 26, 2015, a big change swept the United States with the Supreme Court ruling that it is unconstitutional to deny the right for citizens to marry based on sexual preference because of the fourteenth amendment and the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses. This event will have the most impact on the millennial generation as more changes are made to enforce the new law. Besides the most prevalent reasons for its positive impact on this generation, those being the right to marry whatever sex you wish, it also has economic advantages. Those who have a legal spouse may be eligible for the same tax deductions as those whom have been able to legally marry prior to this new bill. There will also be an increase of adoptions and artificial pregnancies throughout the nation as more single-sex couples get married, as they cannot reproduce on their own. This may mean that more children will have permanent homes in the millennial generation than the previous generations as more foster children get adopted into homes just as good as the traditional house
