What is the equation of the line? A. y = -2x B. y = -1/2x B. y = 1/2x D. y = 2x I think B

Nnesha (nnesha):

where is the line ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nnesha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry i forgot there was a graph XD

Nnesha (nnesha):

first of all: if line is going up (increasing ) then slope would be positive if line is decreasing then slope would be negative y=mx+B slope intercept form where m is slope and b is y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its D?

Nnesha (nnesha):

so on that graph line is going up or down ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

why D ?? :=))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because the Lane Goes Strait across it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i could have swore i had this question before on a different Homework Assignment

Nnesha (nnesha):

how would you find the slope and y-intercept ?? :=))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm buy Multiplying alot of the points into X?

Nnesha (nnesha):

well y-intercept is a point where line intersect y-axis

Nnesha (nnesha):

slope = rise over run rise = how many units its going up from the y-intercept run=how many units going to the right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by taking all the points on the Line and divideing them into eathother?
