Help Please :). Find the standard form of the equation of the ellipse and give the location of its foci.

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

@phi would yo mind helping :)

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

@Missiey

OpenStudy (anonymous):

center is 0,0 a=6 b=7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u know how to solve

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

i dont :( give me first steps maybe i can figure it out from there ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The center is (0,0) and the major axis is vertical, so standard form is (x^2)/b^2 + (y^2)/a^2= 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the foci are on the major axis, and c units from the center. So in this case, they are actually on the y axis, not the x.

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

so what do i do with the standard form
