Hey there bud, So basically we want to move Z to one side so that we can simplify and get the final answer. So to get Z on it's own, we can subtract 4 from both sides, so -4-3=z So what would Z equal?

OpenStudy (lolacole12):

1

OpenStudy (lolacole12):

-1

OpenStudy (lolacole12):

got it

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

Wait up bud

OpenStudy (lolacole12):

m

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

When you subtract -4 from -3 we get -7, because we combine like terms :)
