Multiplying an odd number times an odd number, results in what type of anewer, odd or even?

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

It depends. For instance, 5x5 = 10. 10 is even. but, 3x3 = 9. 9 is odd.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

woops :O

zepdrix (zepdrix):

It should give you the same result no matter which numbers you choose :)

zepdrix (zepdrix):

5x5 does not equal 10 hehe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

I meant 25 o.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's odd I mean I'm only 9

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Yes. Just choose any two odd numbers to check a question like this: 1 x 3 = 3 So `odd` times `odd` = `odd` 2 x 3 = 6 So `even` times `odd` = `even` 2 x 2 = 4 So `even` times `even` = `even`
