Simplify each expression: –3(x – 2) + 7(x + 5)

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

@jim_thompson5910 can you show your steps

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Use the distributive property.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3x+6+7x+35 =4x+41

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

@kdancer03 could you show your work

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Nobody can do the work of learning for you :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did. You multiply the -3 to the (x-2) and do the same for 7(x+5) so you get -3x+6+7x+35 then combine like to terms to get 4x+41
