Please Help!! its easy. free medals identify the italicized part of the sentence. The main event will be a [memory] contest. subject predicate direct object indirect object predicate noun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which one is the italicized word?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

memory

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hm, I'm kind of stumped with this one. I guess we can start with what memory ISNT..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It isn't predicate adjective, so cut that off the list

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i think its subject or predicate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think its subject because I'm assuming the subject is "the main event"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well yea that explains that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you think its indirect object or predicate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm thinking its either direct object or predicate.. I'm not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why direct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, indirect object would make more sense, nevermind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooooh nvm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So indirect vs predicate.. Probably indirect? I cant answer this one that confidently.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've never had any teachers even bother to teach a lot of these things.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well im in homeschool so yea my work is hard every day or it gets harder

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it get annoying sometimes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Someone on google says its predicate. ._. I'm on online school aswell.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well.... now what??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

predicate was right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is your homeschool any harder or what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hm, I was...kind of close lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea you were

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That really depends on perspective. I'm a senior with a lack of credits because I left school awhile ago, so my classes are sophomore level, I'd say.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok, what grade you're in by the way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12th, senior in highschool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow your a senior your way out my league im a freshman and we both had a prob with this question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The education system is really messed up, lol. I've never had a teacher even describe a predicate adjective before, so a lot of learning comes from extensive online research.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol that the reason i transfer to homeschool and yet the systems are still messed up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like one time my father and to restart one question because i didn't do the S.A but instead of redoing one question the system had a glitch and now i have to do 2 weeks worth of work to catch up on and we couldn't fix the glitch

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, you have to work with what you've got. I've only recently discovered this site and its made my experience with school a bit nicer in some ways. I visit the mathematics section very often because I struggle in that subject the most. I've gotten some really great explanations from strangers on the internet. You know the education system isn't right when a stranger can teach you more in a few minutes then your highschool teacher can in two hours.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea the site does help but if you keep spamming questions then they take a while to answer but its cool to have strangers like you helping me and taking there time just to help one person

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@VampForLife are you sure you're VampForLife

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have a vamp life

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well kind of i am a day walker

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i actually don't know if a vamped life is good or bad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you picked the name so i guess its good
