What are the intercepts of y = 4x − 2? (0.5, 0) and (0, -2) (2, 0) and (0, 0) (-2, 0) and (0, 2) (0, -2) and (0, 0)

needing an explanation. help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to do the equation to find out what y = and then that will give you your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so all i have to do is solve for y?

OpenStudy (babynini):

Or, you can set y to 0 and solve for x. And then set x to 0 and solve for y :)

OpenStudy (babynini):

When x = 0 that will give you your y intercept. Y=0 will give you x intercept
