OpenStudy (lilday12):

These three crates are all 1 m off the ground. Which statement about the force of the Earth's gravity pulling on the crates is true? A. The force of gravity on the three crates is the same because all three are the same distance from Earth. B. The force of gravity on the 20-kg crate is the lightest because the 20-kg crate has more mass. C. The force of gravity on the 5-kg crate is the lightest because the 5-kg crate has the least mass. D. The force of gravity on the three crates is the same because all three have the same acceleration, g.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Hmm got deleted, odd Regardless Hint* \(\large F = ma\) So here, \(\large F_g = mg\) As you can see, the force of gravity only depends on the mass and the acceleration due to gravity
